Delta Kappa Gamma Area XVI is located in San Diego and Imperial Counties,
in Southern California. San Diego County is located on the Pacific Ocean
bordering Mexico, and is the 3rd largest county by population in the state.

Imperial County extends over 4,597 sq. miles. The terrain varies from 235 feet below sea level at the Salton Sea, to 4,548 ft. at Blue Angel Peak. It is home to the Imperial Valley – a diverse and rich collection of resources. The climate is hot and dry, ranging from lows in the mid 30s in January to highs of 110+ in July and August.
